WHAT RESONANCE SAYS ABOUT WORLD BEST CITIES

The 2026 World’s Best Cities ranking benchmarks the performance and perception of principal cities in metropolitan areas with populations of more than one million, identifying the top 100 cities to live, visit and invest in worldwide.

The ranking combines core statistical data with user-generated digital data and global perception research. Resonance assesses cities across 46 metrics grouped into 30 categories, which are organized under three main pillars: Livability, Lovability and Prosperity.

The methodology also incorporates perception data from an Ipsos survey of more than 21,000 respondents across 31 countries, measuring the cities where people would most like to live, visit and find job opportunities.
